Congress intensifies campaign in favour of Mian Altaf

Rajouri, Apr 30: Congress today intensified the election campaign in Rajouri district in support of INDIA bloc candidate for Anantnag- Rajouri parliamentary constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmad .

According to a press release, JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani today reached Rajouri to join the public meeting to be addressed Mian Altaf Ahmad at Thanna Mandi apart from few other places. All senior leaders of Congress in District Rajouri including PCC,DCC functionarie and DDC members are already actively involved in the joint campaign. JKPCC senior vice president and Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma also held a meeting of party workers of Sunderbani and Nowshera area, part of Anantnag constituency and asked them to gear up their political activities in favour of coalition candidate Mian Altaf Ahmad.

He claimed that Congress is in winning position in both the seats of Jammu and Udhampur as the majority of people have voted for change especially the Youth and employees given several anti-employed and anti-employee policies of the BJP government and UT administration.

He said the agniveer scheme has spoiled the future of young boys closed hundreds of schools and stopped the recruitment of teachers for ten years apart from failure to regularise Daily wagers, need-based and different categories of contractual employees are all anti-youth policies.
