Congress hurting security forces’ morale, defending Pakistan’s terrorism: BJP

Jammu, May 3: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta Saturday alleged that Congress was defending Pakistanís terrorism and was hurting Indian security forces' morale.

Referring to Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channiís recent statement questioning the proof of Indias surgical strikes, Vibodh Gupta said, Once again, the Congress has chosen to question the integrity of the Army and Air Force. Charanjit Singh Channi has reiterated his doubts vis-‡-vis the surgical strikes and is demanding evidence. It raises serious concerns about the mindset of the Congress leadership and the Gandhi family how can they consistently cast doubt on Indian forces while appearing to trust Pakistans narrative?

 Even Pakistan has publicly acknowledged that the strikes happened, the BJP leader added.

He said that at a time when the entire nation was united in supporting Indian armed forces to avenge terrorism, the Congress party continued to undermine their credibility and hurt their morale.

 It is shameful that the Congress is playing politics with the security of the nation while our forces risk their lives every day to protect us, Vibodh Gupta said.
