Congress dancing to the tunes of Pak, ISI: Chugh

Srinagar, Sep 04: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also the party in-charge of J&K, today said that the Congress has wrecked havoc within the region for the past more than 70 years by playing in the hands of forces across the border.

Chugh said the Congress, in league with the NC and PDP, has been waging a proxy war in J&K to spread violence and disturbance to deprive the youth from employment opportunities. "It has been a calculated design of the Congress to support divisive forces and to let down the Kashmiri pandits", Chug said, adding that there have been signals that the Congress is mostly speaking the language of the cross border forces led by ISI.

Reacting strongly to the statement of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for misleading the people on statehood issue, Chugh said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already promised to restore the statehood as soon as law and order situation improved.

He said after the dismal failure of the ‘Gupkar gang’ in the DDC and the Lok Sabha elections there has been a new upsurge in J&K as the youth has started looking for new job avenues after giving up the misleading way of stones and guns.

He said jobs for the youth and women empowerment are the top priority of the BJP in J&K at a time when the Prime Minister has already promised to restore the statehood to J&K as soon as the law and order situation normalises.

Chugh said for more than 70 years the Congress, with NC and PDP, has been depriving people of J&K of development and progress, but, he said, the BJP promises to turn a new leaf for the people.
