He lauded the leadership of Chowdhary Lal Singh, who, he claimed, was “a crusader against injustice and would fight for the rights of the poor and downtrodden.” Babbar alleged that BJP did injustice with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in every sphere and it was the time to bring about change through ballot.

“Prime Minister and other top leaders of BJP are rushing one after the other to campaign as they know that people have made up their mind to bring about change for a better future of J&K,” he claimed.

JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani hit out at the BJP and Modi government for, what he alleged, “destroying democratic system in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Chowdhary Lal Singh assured people to “fight for the rights and dignity of people of Jammu & Kashmir, who, he alleged, “were deprived of their identity, status, dignity and rights to land, jobs, resources.”

He thanked people for their wholehearted support. He also thanked the alliance partners viz., leaders of National Conference; Harshdev Singh and others for their full support and said I.N.D.I.Alliance would form the government at the Centre.

Former minister Harshdev Singh lambasted the BJP for crushing the democratic rights of people of J&K in ten years. “The authoritarian way of working, misuse of power and their economic policies have forced people to decide to teach them a lesson this time and Chowdhary Lal Singh will win by a huge margin,” he added.
