Conference highlighting life of Shah-e-Hamdan (RA) held at Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Jun 19: Qamria Model Higher Secondary Educational Institute in Saloora Ganderbal recently organised conference highlighting the life and times of Shah-e- Hamdan (RA).

The event saw participation of a large number of people.

During the conference, the speakers were unanimous that Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA), not only enriched Kashmiri literature but enlightened people about the real concept of spiritualism, amity, mutual brotherhood, communal harmony and peace.

Large number of scholars, intellectuals, eminent citizens and students of various educational institutes were present on the occasion. Prof Dr Syed Majid Andrabi, former head, Department of Arabic, Islamic University of Science and Technology attended as the chief guest of the event. Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Chairman, Qamria Muslim Wakaf Trust Saloora Ganderbal presided over the function. On the occasion, students of various schools participated in the debate and expressed their views on the topic Hazrat “Ameer-e-Kabeer (RA) Mohsin-e-Kashmir”. They were later felicitated by the school management.
