Compensate affected apple growers: Mehbooba

Srinagar, Sep 02: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti today appealed the LG administration to provide compensation to the apple growers, who suffered losses due to heavy rains and hailstorm in Kulgam.

She posted on X, “ Heavy rains hailstorms have devastated apple orchards in Kulgam.

Local administration should urgently depute a team from the Horticulture department to assess damages & ensure the growers are compensated.”
