Committees for grant of J&K Govt awards on Republic Day reconstituted

Jammu, Nov 29: The Government has reconstituted Screening Committee and Apex Level Selection Committee for the grant of J&K Government awards on Republic Day.

Reconstitution of committees has been approved in supersession of all previous orders issued on the subject.

As per GAD order, Screening Committee will comprise Financial Commissioner, Revenue; Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department; Additional Director General of Police, CID and one senior Administrative Secretary (to be nominated by the Chief Secretary).

Apex Level Selection Committee will comprise Deputy Chief Minister; Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly;  Chief Secretary, J&K and one eminent person to be nominated by the Chief Minister.
