Committee to take over assets created at Mantalai under PMDP
Jammu, Nov 13: J&K government Monday constituted a 7-member panel for inspection and taking over of the assets created at Mantalai under the Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP).
As per GAD order, the committee will comprise the Chief Executive Officer Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) as its chairman while Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chenani; Executive Engineer, PW(R&B) department, Chenani; Executive Engineer, JPDCL, Udhampur; Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, Udhampur and Account Officer, Patnitop Development Authority, Kud will be its members besides any other member to be co-opted by the chairman.
The committee has been asked to complete this task within 15 days of issuance of order by General Administration Department (GAD).
Under PMDP, the major assets to be created included Yoga Centre with associated infrastructure, equipment and counselling rooms, landscaping and beautification, illumination and solid waste management; signage; Wellness Spa and Ayurveda complex with separate area for traditional Indian Spa therapies with library and archiving centre; associated Infrastructure; Internal pathway; tourist facilitation centre with sitting area, toilets, lobby, gathering space, exhibition space; dining centre, cafeteria with kitchen, washrooms; Eco log huts with solariums on south west side integrated into the cottage design; Eco park with Herb Garden with Poly Houses; Meditation Enclave in apple orchard; solar lighting; heliport with security fencing, ambulance shed, fire tender shed, wind vane, helicopter shelter; open air amphitheatre with green rooms and tensile roofing etc.
