Committee on PSUs highlights need for public health advancement

Srinagar, Sep 30: In a pivotal meeting, JKNC General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Mohammad Ali Sagar, in the capacity as Chairman of the Committee on Public Sector Undertakings, led discussions on strengthening J&K's health infrastructure and accountability in the Health & Medical Education Department.

MLAs Saifullah Mir, Saif Ud Din Bhat, Ali Mohammad Dar, Tanvir Sadiq, Showkat Hussain Ganai, Mir Mohammad Fayaz, and Ranbir Singh Pathania attended as committee members, focusing on public health advancements.

The committee reviewed ongoing projects, emphasized improving healthcare access in rural areas, and addressed resource allocation to enhance medical facilities, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the department’s operations for better public health outcomes.
