Committed for restoration of statehood: Karra

Srinagar, Sep 21: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Incharge J&K Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain alongwith senior leaders of JKPCC addressed Voter Adhikar Sammelan in Chandanwari (Uri) in district Baramulla of North Kashmir. He accused that the "ECI-BJP collusion was responsible for election manipulation in various states, as vote Chori is an assault on democratic system in the country". He  cautioned the "people about theft of their vote by the present dispensation at Centre with the full support and help of ECI".

Addressing the Sammelan, Dr. Naseer Hussain accused the BJP for election manipulation in various states to remain in power and said “LOP Rahul Gandhi has exposed the vote theft by ECI BJP collusion.”

JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra said the fight of LOP Rahul Gandhi for safeguarding the democracy and democratic intuitions in the country was appericiable. is intolerable and unacceptable.

He said “despite promising to restore Statehood to J&K, the Centre is deliberately delaying the process aiming to further disempower and disrespect the urges and aspirations of the people.”

CLP Leader and AICC General Secretary GA Mir said that “Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the people’s rights and to safeguard nation from the challenges posed to democracy and democratic set up by the BJP.” Congress Party won’t remain silent. We will continue to fight under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge and LOP Rahul Gandhi and ensure that democracy which is the hallmark of this great Nation is safeguarded.

Mir said the dual power structure has created confusion and hardships for the public, on one side, there is the LG rule and on the other is CM, with the result, the common people are continuously suffering on every count.
