Commissioner Secretary Floriculture among 28 JKAS officers retiring in 2024

Jammu, Nov 22: Commissioner Secretary Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, Director Employment Nisar Ahmad Wani and Special Secretary Tribal Affairs Department SuriyaJabeen are among twenty-eight JKAS officers retiring in 2024.

As per a notification of the General Administration Department, these twenty-eight members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) will retire on attaining the age of superannuation in the afternoon of specified dates during the calendar year, 2024.

As per notification both Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad and Nisar Ahmad Wani will retire on December 31, 2024.

Tariq Ahmad Zargar Secretary Department of Rural Development &Panchayati Raj will attain age of superannuation on June 30, 2024; Raman Kumar Secretary Power Development Department on May 31, 2024; SuriyaJabeen on April 30, 2024; Ashok Kumar Toogha Mission Director, RUSA on March 31, 2024; Ashok Kumar Pandita Additional Secretary Revenue Department on November 30, 2024 and Farooq Ahmad Rather Director, Floriculture, Kashmir on March 31, 2024.

Suram Chand Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports, Jammu will retire on September 30, 2024 and KewalKrishan Additional Secretary Labour& Employment Department will superannuate on October 31, 2024.

Ram Lai Sharma Deputy Secretary Social Welfare Department will retire on March 31, 2024; Ishtiaq Ahmad Secretary, Srinagar Development Authority on March 31, 2024; ParveenAkhter Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Jammu on December 31, 2024; ShekilHussain Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar on March 31, 2024; Noor-ud-Din Bhat Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore on April 30, 2024; MohdYaseen Deputy Secretary Jal Shakti Department on March 31, 2024; GhulamDastegirAlam Deputy Secretary Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment on March 31, 2024 and JyotiRaina Deputy Secretary Labour& Employment Department will attain age of superannuation on May 31, 2024.
