Commemorative function held at Tagore Hall on death anniversary of Srinagar businessman
Srinagar, Mar 5: In commemoration of the 5th death anniversary of renowned businessman, hotelier and social personality Ghulam Nabi Alikadli, a function was held today at Tagore Hall Srinagar in which prominent businessmen, social workers, writers and business personalities of the Valley and people belonging to different sections of the society were present.
The dignitaries paid their respects to the late Ghulam Nabi AliKadli in magnificent words and remembered his services towards hotel business, tourism and society.
The event was organised by Care Foundation in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Gayoor Foundation. The ceremony was presided over by Er Showkat Gayroor along with Farooq Ruenzu ,Farooq Trali ,Dr Mehjabeen Nabi and Nowneet Kour.
In the first session of the ceremony, the blessing of reciting the Holy Quran was obtained by Gulal Kashmiri.
Chairperson of Care Foundation, Dr Mah Jabeen Nabi, while delivering the welcome speech, expressed happiness for the participation of friends, lovers and various social, commercial and literary associations together in this event on the occasion of the death anniversary of the deceased.
Late AliKadli not only made a mark as a successful businessman but also established a unique identity at the international level.
In the second session of the ceremony, a Natiya Mushaira was held for the late Ali Kadli, in which dozens of poets participated.
In the last session of the ceremony, many personalities were honored with awards and certificates by CARE Foundation in recognition of their valuable services in trade, literature, journalism, social services and various fields. Dr Wahid Raza and Syed Tajumal hosted the event.
