Cold, dry weather to continue in J-K till Dec 18, says MeT

Srinagar, Dec 09: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar Monday predicted cold and dry weather like conditions over many stations of Jammu and Kashmir till December 18.

It also predicted light snow over isolated higher reaches of J&K on December 12.

The weather conditions will likely remain dry till December 11, the official said.

He said the isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir will likely witness light snow on December 12.

The official however added that from December 13-18 the weather conditions will remain dry likely.

The cold and dry weather will generally prevail over many stations during next 7-days, the official outlined.

In view of sub-freezing temperature and icy conditions over roads of important passes and higher reaches, the official advised tourists, traveler and transporters to follow advisories from administration and traffic department.
