Talking to media persons here he described the meeting as routine. “There is nothing new of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s meetings with Prime Minister or Home Minister. If he does not meet Prime Minister or other central ministers of the country then whom should he meet. The pleasing thing happens to be that central government has assured to work in tandem with our government besides they have assured full support which I believe is good for Jammu and Kashmir. Confrontation can lead to no way and has always adverse repercussions,” Nasir added.

Advisor to Chief Minister said that violence has brought destruction for the last 30 years in the region. He said that people have suffered a lot and now time has come to stop violence. Nasir added that nothing was achieved for the last 30 five years due to militancy instead we have been suffering badly due to the destruction and bloodbath inflicted on Kashmiris. “Our neighbours should understand that we want to live with peace and tranquility and we should be allowed to live with stability. Nothing can be achieved with the killing of innocents,” said Nasir.
