Srinagar, Jan 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullahís Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani has been accorded the rank and status of a cabinet minister, an official order said on Saturday.
According to the order, Wani would be entitled to a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 80,000, rent-free accommodation, and transport facilities to be provided by the Motor Garages Department.

The order said the cabinet minister status would remain effective for the duration of his tenure as Adviser to the Chief Minister.
