CMO Doda pays surprise visits to health centres

Doda, June 2: Maintaining proper work culture, regularity and punctuality, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda, Dr Om Kumar paid a surprise visit to many health centres, situated in medical block Bhaderwah, district Doda on June 1.

The CMO Doda paid a surprise visit to AAM PHC Chinta, PHC Sartingal, SC Basti and SC Nalthi to take stock of availability, functioning of the health centres and services being provided to the community.

During his visit, the CMO took a thorough round of all sections of the health centres, interacted with the health staff and locals of the area and took direct feedback regarding their functioning. While interacting with the health staff on duty, the CMO Doda advised them to perform their duties as per the devised roaster besides performing duties with utmost dedication and great zeal to ensure better medi-care facilities were being provided to the patients of the area. The CMO also checked the attendance of the health functionaries and daily stock register of medicines including other relevant records pertaining to them.  He directed the concerned Block Medical Officer to personally monitor the functioning of all peripheral health centres falling under his jurisdiction and ensure availability of all healthcare facilities to the patients.

The comprehensive inspection visit and proactive approach undertaken by CMO Doda underscored the health department's commitment to ensuring the efficient delivery of essential services and maintaining high standards across the health sector in district Doda, an official spokesperson said.
