CM Yogi flags off ‘Shaurya Tiranga Yatra’, hails Operation Sindoor as a bold message to terror
Lucknow, May 14: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday flagged off the Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra from his official residence, calling Operation Sindoor a decisive blow to terrorism and a proud moment for the nation. Leading the yatra with the national flag in hand, he said, “In times of national crisis, patience and unity are our greatest strengths.”
He lauded the Indian armed forces for their swift and resolute action, stating, “Pakistan has been demoralised. The world has seen its shameless truth, a nation where even top leaders attend the funerals of terrorists.” He said Operation Sindoor was a necessary response to Pakistan’s continued sheltering of terror groups, especially after the April 22 attack in Pahalgam.
“Over 100 terrorists and their handlers were eliminated on the very first day. India will not provoke, but it will not spare those who do,” he said. CM Yogi also warned that anyone threatening India’s sovereignty or disrespecting its daughters would face consequences “so final, there will be none left to mourn them.”
The Chief Minister described the Tiranga Yatra as a tribute to the armed forces and an expression of the nation’s gratitude. “The tricolour represents our pride and valour. This yatra honours our soldiers and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi,” he said, praising the strong public turnout despite the heat.
He reiterated the BJP’s guiding principle of “Nation First” and said that under PM Modi’s leadership, India was moving toward becoming a developed and united country. “When 140 crore Indians act with national interest at heart, no power in the world can stand against us,” he added.
Yogi also praised PM Modi’s recent visit to Adampur in Punjab, calling it a unifying gesture that uplifted the morale of soldiers across the country. Senior BJP leaders, ministers, MPs, MLAs, and party workers were present at the event, which was conducted by Legislative Council member Govind Narayan Shukla.
