CM pays tributes to Mufti

Srinagar, Jan 7: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday paid tributes to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) founder Mufti Muhammad Sayeed on his ninth death anniversary.

“Remembering former CM of J&K, late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed Sahab on his 9th death anniversary.

Mufti Sahab was one of the most senior political leaders to emerge from Kashmir, having served in various ministries in the union government and been elected CM of J&K twice. His death left a gap in the political landscape of J&K that remains unfilled. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat,” CM Omar posted on microblogging site X.
