CM Omar’s sons make special appearance in J&K Assembly
Srinagar, Nov 5: The ongoing J&K Assembly session on Tuesday saw two “special guests” in the house: Zaheer and Zameer, the sons of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Seated by the side of CM’s Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani in the public gallery of the house, both Zaheer and Zameer continued to watch the proceedings of the house keenly as obituary references were being made.
A National Conference (NC) leader said CM Omar’s sons were in the house to get first-hand experience of the house proceedings.
Earlier, Zaheer and Zameer campaigned for their father during the J&K Assembly elections and even voiced their opinion on political issues concerning J&K.
They were first seen during the election campaigning of their father in Ganderbal constituency where they also made their first public speech.
