Rs 10,637 crore road and tunnel projects for J&K: CM Omar thanks PM, MoRTH

Srinagar, Jun 23: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for approving Rs 10,637 crore worth of road and tunnel projects for J&K.

ìIn a major achievement, my government has got Rs 10,600 crore worth of road and tunnel projects approved by the union government. I am grateful to PM Narendra Modi ji and MoRTH Minister Nitin Gadkari ji for their continued support as we try to steer J&K on a path of progress, development and connectivity,î CM Omar posted on his personal X handle.

A similar message was also posted on the official handle of the Chief Minister.

The CM said that the J&K government would work in close coordination with the MoRTH to ensure the timely execution of these vital infrastructure projects.
