He also highlighted the challenges of governance, stating that sitting outside, many people think it is easy to run a government in such difficult circumstances. “I tell some of them, for example, come and sit on my chair for 10 days. If on the 11th day, you do not pull your legs, I’ll concede the point,” he said.

We got this situation in inheritance. But we never made an excuse for this. On the contrary, we tried to solve it quietly,” he said

Touching upon the political aspirations of the people, Omar Abdullah reiterated his stand on restoration of statehood. “But my colleagues will also have to be courageous. They will have to face the powers that only want destruction in Jammu and Kashmir. We will fight. We will fight in democratic ways. We will fight in peaceful ways. We will get our rights within the realm of Constitution. But I am not ready to bring destruction and destruction in the homes of the people here. But I still believe that there is no despair in Allah’s court, we will get it. And we will get our rights. But for now, the work will continue,” he said.
