CM Omar Abdullah must apologise: Sajad Lone
Srinagar, Apr 15: MLA Handwara and Peoples Conference (PC) President Sajad Gani Lone today said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah must apologise for procedural mishandling by his party MLAs in moving an adjournment motion instead of a resolution in legislative assembly on Waqf Amendment Act.

Lone pointed out that he had raised the same issue on April 7 but was met with hostility from members of the ruling party. Referring to his own tweet made on April 7, when what he termed the "song and dance performance" of NC members began, PC President stated, “What CM Sahib has said today, in my tweet made on the 7th of April, I said exactly the same. And for saying the same, the NC members used all possible political pejoratives against me.”
