Jammu, Nov 11: J-K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday made his maiden visit to the Civil Secretariat Jammu in his capacity as the region's Chief minister.
Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by legislators, leaders, and officials, setting a positive tone for his interaction with key stakeholders from the Jammu region.
During his visit, Omar Abdullah engaged in productive discussions with ministers, legislators, and regional leaders, expressing his commitment to foster collaboration and open communication.
“This outreach effort underscores his dedication to addressing the unique needs and concerns of the Jammu region,” NC leader from Jammu, Ajay Sadhotra told the news agency KNT.
“As the first Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370, Omar Abdullah's visit to the Civil Secretariat Jammu holds great significance. His leadership comes at a crucial time, and his actions will shape the future of the region,” he added.
Omar on Sunday was forced to take the road to Jammu as low visibility prevented flights from taking off. The new CM posted over a couple of time lapse shots on his official X-handle.
