Highlighting the importance of innovation and ethical responsibility, the Chief Minister said that engineers form the backbone of development and implementation. “Whether the government is successful or not, engineers play a very important role in this. We may come up with new ideas in meetings and sessions, but without you, they cannot be translated on the ground,” he said.

Assuring the engineering community of the government’s commitment to address their concerns, Omar Abdullah said, “I want to assure you all that my colleagues and I are working very seriously on this. We are determined to find a sustainable solution for your long-pending issues, not just a one-time measure. You should continue contributing towards making J&K a developed state, while we will shoulder the responsibility of resolving your service matters.”
