Srinagar, Nov 22: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today praised the Jammu and Kashmir Floriculture Department, celebrating the launch of two transformative projects aimed at revolutionizing the region's tourism landscape.

During an official event, Abdullah commended Commissioner Secretary Floriculture Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad for pioneering initiatives designed to inject new vibrancy into Kashmir's tourism sector. "I would like to congratulate Sheikh Fayaz Commissioner Secretary and his team in floriculture for both these projects, for the expansion of this high-tech nursery, and for the foundation stone of Chrysanthemum Garden," he declared.

The Chrysanthemum Theme Garden emerges as a strategic tourism intervention, designed to attract visitors during traditionally slow autumn months. The garden will showcase a stunning palette of chrysanthemums in yellow, red, pink, and purple, potentially transforming Kashmir's seasonal tourism dynamics.
