Cloudburst intensity was severe: PRO Defence

Srinagar, Aug 04: Public Defence Officer (PRO) Defence, Srinagar, Sunday said that the intensity of the cloudburst in Kangan was severe.

In a post on the microblogging website X, the PRO Defence said: “A severe intensity cloudburst at 12:30 am on August 4 blocked the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road leading to Ladakh at three locations. BRO Project Beacon 122 RCC/ 32 BRTF swiftly mobilised personnel and machinery and cleared two locations to resume traffic #chinarcorps #BROIndia.”
