To ensure smooth conduct of the exams, the JKBOSE has set up 692 examination centres—530 in Kashmir and 162 in the Jammu winter zones. The examination timing has been fixed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Secretary, JKBOSE, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said that adequate arrangements have been made for the fair and transparent conduct of examinations for all three classes—10th, 11th, and 12th.

“The centre superintendents and supervisory staff have been given strict instructions to safeguard the integrity of the exams,” Sheikh said. He added that the Board has deployed vigilance squads to carry out random checks to ensure adherence to examination protocols.

“The vigilance teams have been instructed to maintain courteous behaviour with students while performing their duties,” he said.

District administrations have been requested to impose restrictions under Section 163 of the BNSS to prevent any external interference or disturbance near examination centres.

As per the JKBOSE date sheet, the Class 11th annual regular exams will commence from November 19. A total of 81,622 students—65,001 from Kashmir and 17,621 from the winter zone areas of Jammu—have registered for the Class 11th examinations.

The Board has set up around 760 examination centres for the Class 11th exams, including 574 in Kashmir and 186 in Jammu.

Earlier, JKBOSE announced a 15 percent relaxation in the syllabus for students of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th, citing academic disruptions during the current session.
