“Searches were conducted in several prisons across Kashmir, including Central Jail Srinagar and Kupwara Jail. The purpose of the operation was to identify and block any possible illegal communication links used by detained terrorists or Over Ground Workers (OGWs) to stay in touch with their handlers,” they said.
