CIC operators in Rural Development Department seek regularisation
Srinagar, Oct 29: The CIC operators working in the Rural Development Department (RDD) have pressed for their long-standing demand for regularization. They have highlighted that personal assurances were given by CM Omar Abdullah and the NC’s commitment in its manifesto, adding that no relief has been provided to them so far.
“We have been recruited in 2003 through a transparent process, we possess high qualifications such as MCA, M.Tech, and BE. From time to time the Government has completed all codal formalities for regularisation of our services, including two cabinet orders, creation of posts, dual concurrence from the Finance Department, legal opinions, and clearance from the Empowered Committee of the Finance Department,” it said.
“We would like to humbly remind you that we have had the privilege of meeting you in person. Unfortunately, despite the file being routed through the General Administration Department, Law Department, and Finance Department, and reaching your office, but unfortunately no any directions from you,” the operators wrote in a letter to the CM.
“Despite fulfilling of all requirements and codal formalities, we are disheartened by the delay in regularization of our services. We humbly request your goodself to kindly issue necessary instructions for regularisation of our services, as per your assurance and the party's commitment,” it said.
