Chugh Slams Punjab CM for Mocking Operation Sindoor
Chandigarh, June 4: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has criticised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for allegedly mocking Operation Sindoor, accusing him of insulting the armed forces and the widows of soldiers killed in the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
Chugh said the Chief Minister’s remarks amounted to “mimicry” and reflected “a polluted mindset,” claiming they demeaned the courage of security personnel and the grief of women who lost their spouses in the Pakistan-backed terror strike.
Calling Operation Sindoor a symbol of Indian valour, Chugh said Mann’s comments were not just politically immature but morally bankrupt. He also targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over alleged past instances of misconduct, referencing controversies involving its women leaders and party functionaries. Chugh asserted that AAP’s record on women’s dignity was questionable and claimed Punjab’s women would not forgive the party for such behaviour.
