Srinagar, Mar 27: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today extended his greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasions of Shab-i-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.

In his message, the Chief Minister highlighted the spiritual significance of Shab-i-Qadr, the blessed night when the Holy Quran was revealed, and Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of Ramadan, which holds great importance for the Muslim community.

He urged the people to use these sacred moments for prayers, self-reflection and seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity and brotherhood.

“May these blessed occasions bring harmony, prosperity and well-being to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us pray for peace, unity and the progress of our society and strengthen the bonds of compassion and togetherness,” CM Abdullah said.
