Chenab valley NC leaders greet Kichloo on RS nomination

Banihal, Oct 11: National Conference (NC) leaders and workers from the Chenab valley have extended their heartfelt congratulations to senior party leader and former minister Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo for his nomination as a member of the Rajya Sabha.

They also expressed gratitude to the party leadership for acknowledging the aspirations of the people from the region.

In a joint press statement, Ghulam Rasool Magray, senior NC leader and joint secretary for Jammu Province, senior NC leader from Warwan Master Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mehru, Amir Rasool Magray provisional president youth Jammu division, Sajjad Ahmed Mir and workers and leaders from Warwan and Marwah, thanked NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah for nominating Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo to the Upper House of Parliament.

The leaders said that by choosing a capable and popular figure from the Jammu region, the NC leadership fulfilled the hopes of thousands of people.

Describing Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo as a “competent and insightful leader,” they added, “He has always been a strong voice for the poor, underprivileged and marginalized sections of society and has consistently worked for their welfare.”
