Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, other delegations call on LG

Srinagar, June 3: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board Darakhshan Andrabi called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on Monday.

Andrabi discussed with the LG the developmental works and measures undertaken by the board, including development of Sufi shrines in J&K.

Chairman District Development Council, Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan, and Chairperson District Development Council Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq also met the LG. A delegation of social activists comprising Shabir Hussain, popularly known as the ‘blood man of Kashmir’ and members of RED DROP, a unit of blood donors, headed by Dr Touseef Ahmad also called on the LG at Raj Bhawan.

Later, the representatives of Traders Association Central Lal Chowk Srinagar led by its President Feroz Ahmad Baba, and a young social activist Jehanzeb Allaqaband also met the LG at Raj Bhawan.
