Chairman WDRA visits CA stores in Lassipora

Srinagar, Nov 24: Chairman T K Manoj Kumar, Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) conducted a significant visit to CA Stores in Lassipora as part of an impactful outreach programme.

A statement said that the focus was on Warehousing Registration and seamless integration with WDRA, with interactive discussions held with stakeholders, including CA Store owners.

The Chairman emphasised the benefits of WDRA registration and pledged support for onboarding CA Stores. Additionally, he visited prominent cold storage facilities like Super Fresh Agri, Abraq Agro Fresh, and Alpine Agro Fresh, aiming to enhance warehousing efficiency in the region through this collaborative initiative.

Chairman, T K Manoj Kumar was accompanied by HK Dabas, Under Secretary WDRA, BP Yadav Assistant Director WDRA, Vikas Sharma, Director of Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Fayaz Ahmad Banday, General Manager DIC, Pulwama, Shabir Ahmad General Manager JKSIDCO and other officials who provided insights into the dual objectives of the visit.

At the SIDCO Complex in Lassipora, a meeting was convened under the leadership of the Chairman. During the session, HK Dabas, Under Secretary WDRA, took the initiative to enlighten the participants on the intricacies of the registration process with WDRA. The gathering provided a platform for comprehensive discussions, fostering a better understanding of the procedures involved in aligning with the regulatory framework.

Ejaz Qureshi, President of JKPICCA, expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the outreach program, supporting the onboarding of CA Stores in UT J&K with WDRA, and applauding Director Vikas Sharma for leading a groundbreaking linkage awareness workshop in Kashmir.

The President emphasised the importance of connecting IGC Lassipora through an industrial corridor for enhanced accessibility, highlighting the visionary approach of the Department of Horticulture Planning and Marketing.
