Srinagar, June 15: In a significant development, the Chairman of Doon School Srinagar, Showkat Hussain Khan has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Award for Transformative Education Excellence' during the Indo-Norway International Education Summit and Awards 2024.

The ceremony was held at Stortinget - Parliament of Norway in Oslo, Norway earlier this month.

Member of Parliament, Kingdom of Norway Himanshu Gulati was the chief guest at the occasion while Ole Jacob Johansen, Akershus, and Dr. Acquino Vimal, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway were the Guests of Honor at the event.

"This award underscores the commitment of the Chairman Doon School to quality and futuristic education through the institution, which is ranked among India's leading Co-ed Day schools," the handout reads.

Since its establishment in 2014, the school has consistently demonstrated excellence in both scholastic and co-scholastic fields.
