Cfore ranking of schools: DPS Srinagar, TBS, Mallinson, Burn Hall figure among top private schools of Valley

Srinagar, Oct 18: The Cfore ranking of schools has named various private schools of Srinagar among top private schools, while few are named as the Best Emerging Schools of the valley.

The schools have been assessed on the basis of various indicators which include teacher competence and relationships, Pedagogy and relevant curriculum, besides leadership and governance.

Other indicators for ranking are teacher care and growth environment besides personalised education given in schools. The schools have been assessed on the basis of academic rigour, co-curricular activities, and sports as well. The ranking of the schools have also included indicators like life skills, social intelligence of the students besides assessing parents' participation and education besides, social engagement.

As per the Cfore ranking, Delhi Public School Srinagar has top the list in the category of best day care co-education school with a score of 1167 out of 1450 followed by Tyndale-Biscoe and Mallinson School with 1139 score and G D Goenka Public School Srinagar with a score of 1127. Also, Burn Hall School Srinagar has been categorised as the best Boy's day school in Srinagar with a score of 1117 out of 1450 while Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Srinagar and Mallinson Girls' School Srinagar have been categorised a best day girls' school in Srinagar with 1072 and 1067 score respectively. As per the ranking, Army Public School Badami Bagh has been categorised as the best Defence Day school with a score of 1109.

Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS), Pampore and Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar have been categorised as best emerging schools with Indian curriculum with a score of 984 and 961 points out of 1350. Also, Foundation World School (FWS) has been categorised as the best emerging schools with an international curriculum with a score of 1032 out of 1350.
