Srinagar, Oct 24: Cerelac, Nestlé's pioneering infant food brand, celebrates its golden jubilee in India with the introduction of no-refined-sugar variants. The brand's journey began in 1975 at Nestlé's Moga factory in Punjab.

A statement said that the complementary food brand, known for its rigorous quality standards with over 40 quality checks per batch, continues production at facilities in Moga, Punjab, and Samalkha, Haryana. Cerelac's formulation includes 15 essential nutrients, including vital vitamins and minerals, developed through Nestlé's global R&D network.

In a significant move, Nestlé has reduced sugar content in Cerelac by 30% over the past five years. By end-November 2024, seven of the fourteen sugar-free variants will be available in the market, with the remaining launching in subsequent weeks.
