Centre extends AGMUT cadre deputation period of Fakhrudin Hamid by one more year

Srinagar, Sep 12: Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training on Thursday accorded approval for extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, IAS to AGMUT cadre for a period of further one year.

“In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby accords approval for extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Shri Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, IAS (AM:2017) from Assam-Meghalaya cadre to AGMUT cadre (UT of J&K) for a period of one year beyond 07.07.2024, in relaxation of the policy,” the notification issued in an official gazette reads.

Pertinently, Syeed Fakrudin Hamid is currently Deputy Commissioner Anantnag.
