Celebrations in Budgam after poll results

Budgam, June 4: Thousands of people gathered in the main town of Budgam to celebrate the victory of Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, a senior leader of National Conference (JKNC), who won from the Srinagar parliamentary constituency.

According to a local news agency, KNO, the celebrations began around 2 pm, with people bursting firecrackers, chanting slogans and waving flags. The crowd was eager to welcome the leader.
