CEE for JAKLI recruitment rally on Jan 12

Srinagar, Jan 10: The recruitment process for the 161 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) will progress to the next stage with the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) scheduled for January 12, 2025.

A statement of the Army issued here said that the CEE is set to take place for approximately 1680 selected candidates from Phase-I, who have successfully cleared the physical, medical, and trade tests.

It said that the recruitment examination would be held at Sunrise Public School, Kitchama in Baramulla.

The statement said that the candidates are required to report by 6 am on the designated day to ensure their participation in the examination.

It said that only those who have passed the earlier stages, including physical and medical tests, along with the trade test for tradesmen, are eligible to attend the written examination.

The statement said that the examination would be strictly restricted to only the candidates who have cleared the preliminary stages.

It said that no other individuals would be allowed entry the premises on the day of the exam.

“This recruitment process is part of the ongoing efforts to bolster the strength of Territorial Army’s 161 Infantry Battalion, which plays a crucial role in the region’s security and defence initiatives,” the statement said. “The successful candidates from this rally will play an integral role in the battalion’s operations, which include both combat and humanitarian efforts in the region.”
