CEC Rajiv Kumar flags off Shikara rally in Dal Lake Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 09: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar along with the Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Dr Sandhu at Dal Lake Srinagar flagged-off Shikara rally in Dal Lake Srinagar.

“High enthusiasm amongst young and future voters at the Shikara and run for democracy events. CEC engaging young voters in strengthening democratic spirit,” Srinagar district administration posted on X .

Notably, the Election Commission of India (ECI) headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar arrived in Kashmir on Thursday morning to review the poll preparedness for the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The ECI team, which is on its two-day visit to J&K, arrived at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, and started interaction with the representatives of the various national and regional political parties.
