CEC Kargil review health, education infrastructure in Zanskar

Kargil, Jul 20: The Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of LAHDC Kargil, Dr Mohammad Jaffer Akhoon, undertook a comprehensive visit to the Community Health Center (CHC) Padum and Government Degree College Zanskar to assess the condition of healthcare services and inspect the progress of developmental works in the education sector.

At CHC Padum, Dr Akhoon interacted directly with patients to understand their health concerns and reviewed the overall functioning of the hospital.

He examined both operational and non-operational infrastructure, including medical and non-medical equipment. During the inspection of the laboratory, he assessed the types and number of diagnostic tests being conducted and verified the laboratory registers.
