CDSL IPF conducts investor awareness programme for armed forces in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 26: The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF), under its flagship initiative Empowering Our Protectors, conducted an investor awareness program for armed forces personnel at the Territorial Army Unit in Srinagar.

A statement issued here said that the programme aimed to enhance financial literacy among armed forces officials and encourage inclusive participation in the securities market. Experts explained the fundamentals of the market, the role of depositories, and the importance of due diligence in initial public offerings (IPOs) and secondary trading.

Participants were also briefed on investor protection measures against fraud, with practical examples used to simplify complex financial concepts, making the session engaging and relatable.
