CDS Gen Anil Chauhan arrives in J&K

Rajouri, Jan 13: Ahead of Akhnoor visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, where he will chair a veterans rally, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan arrived in Jammu today and addressed a session of officers of White Knight Corps.

The session was based on theme “Future Wars and Indian Army Forced.” Officers of Nagrota based White Knight Corps led by Corps Commander Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva alongwith Army Commander Northern Command, Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar attended the session.

Chief of Defence Staff, elucidated the Vision-2047 for Armed Forces in his address during this session.

CDS General Chauhan also deliberated upon evolution of warfare, highlighting the third Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA) encompassing Autonomous, Celerity and Data Centric domains.

He also discussed in details the concept of military leaders as well as character of war.

" CDS underscored the need for Military Leaders to adapt to the changing character of War and be catalysts in ushering the transformational changes in the Year Of Defence Reforms," Army said in its official statement.

Alongwith it, the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Anil Chauhan also applauded all ranks for their professionalism and unwavering dedication, army stated.

Pertinent to mention here that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh alongwith CDS General Anil Chauhan, Jammu and Kashmir LG, Jammu and Kashmir CM are scheduled to attend a grand event referred to as Army Veterans Rally on the eve of Veterans Day.
