CASOs launched in Rajouri

Rajouri, June 10:  Security forces Monday launched massive Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) in over half a dozen locations in Rajouri district, a day after terrorists attacked a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori shrine.

Officials said, “The area where the attack happened at Kanda Morh in Reasi, is just six kilometres away from the border of Rajouri district. Teryath tehsil area shares boundary with Reasi's Pouni where attack took place.”

On Monday, officials said, Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) were launched in all the areas of Rajouri district that share a boundary with Reasi district.

Joint teams of police, SoG of police, CAPF and army launched joint CASOs in the area. Operations, which started in the morning, were going on till last reports poured in.

The officials further said that senior officers of police were leading these operations. “Cordons have also been placed at many places,” they said.
