CASO continues in Reasi villages

Rajouri, July 9: The Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in villages of Reasi district continued for a second consecutive day on Tuesday after the suspected presence and movement of terrorists in the area of Chassana in the Mahore sub-division.

This suspected moment was reported on Monday afternoon by locals after which security forces were informed and a CASO was launched.

The operation continued on Tuesday and Jammu and Kashmir Police as well as the Indian Army continued with the operation in villages of the Reasi district that share boundary with Rajouri district.

There was no immediate report of any trace of suspects.

Meanwhile, security forces are also maintaining a high alert in the areas of the Rajouri district with several measures of high-security arrangements having been taken.
