CASO continues in Pir Panjal for 2nd day

Rajouri, Jan 22: Security forces continued searches in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch districts of the Pir Panjal region for the second consecutive day.

These Cordon and Search Operations (CASO) were launched on Wednesday after suspicious movement in some areas.

On Thursday, security forces continued searches at these locations, and joint teams of forces carried forward the anti-terror efforts.

In the areas of Akhnoor sub-division of Jammu, security forces launched an anti-terror operation on Thursday after a local man reported having seen three suspects.

Teams of Police, CRPF, and Army launched the operation, which was going on when the last reports were received.
