Srinagar, Dec 11: The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) has announced the results of the Council’s Election 2025.

The election results were declared at New Delhi, in the presence of member-exporters and Members of the Committee of Administration including Aslam Mahboob, Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Bodh Raj Malhotra, Deepak Khanna, Husain Jafar Husaini, Imtiaz Ahmad, Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Mehraj Yasin Jan, Mohammad Wasif Ansari, Piyush Kumar Baranwal, Rohit Gupta, Shaukat Khan, Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, and Sanjay Kumar Gupta. Members of the Election Committee, Onkar Nath Misra and Umesh Kumar Gupta, were also present.

The Returning Officer, Dr Smita Nagarkoti, along with the Observer appointed by the Ministry, Dr. Sukhbir Singh Badhal, conducted and supervised the declaration of results in the presence of the scrutinizer.

The Council has congratulated Capt Mukesh Kumar Gombar and Aslam Mahboob and looks forward to their guidance in leading CEPC towards new milestones, said a press release. “The CEPC also expresses appreciation to all members who participated in the election process and acknowledges the support of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Commerce & Industries and NSDL for ensuring a transparent and seamless e-voting system,” it added.
