Candle light vigil held at Vijaypur

Samba, Dec 1: Government Degree College, Vijaypur under the supervision of the College principal, Prof Dr Vandana Gupta organised a Candle Light Vigil to observe World AIDS Day 2023.

To commemorate the day, Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of the college organised series of events including ‘Poster Making’, ‘Human Chain Formation’, ‘Candle Light Vigil’ etc. to inculcate among the college students the gravity of the problem-HIV infection/AIDS. Further they were also given knowledge about and various preventive measures which need to be adopted as responsible citizens to prevent AIDS.
