Camp for identifying children with special needs held in Chanderkote

Ramban, Oct 14: A camp was organised for identifying and assessing the disability of Children with special Needs (CWSN) by the Department of Education under Smagra Siksha Abhiyan in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), at Government High School Chanderkote on Monday.

According to the District Coordinator Inclusive Education, Ramban, Ruhi Kundal on the first day today out of the 330 registered needy children 52 were assessed for providing them assistance aids for 21 different types of disabilities.

She said that on October 15 a similar camp will be organised in Ramsu and on October 16 it will be organised in Gool.

After the assessment the selected needy children will be provided assistance needs later on.
